Thinking · 10 ch TH · PDF
Finish it and you will name at least four things people mean when they say a machine understands, and say which one each famous argument and experiment speaks to; you will explain why a right answer, a convinced user and a passed test still fall short of proof; and you will know which ways of judging are actually left, for machines and for people. If it tires you, the book has failed you.
